Idaho High School Volleyball - West Jefferson overwhelmed by Mackay
September 14, 2024: Mackay, ID 83251 Mackay Miners (Mackay, ID) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting West Jefferson Panthers (Terreton, ID), 3-0 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Mackay improves its record to 6-1 on the season. The Miners host North Gem (Bancroft, ID) to encounter the Cowboys in a 1A Rocky Mountain battle on Thursday, September 19. The Cowboys go into the battle with a record of 1-5.
The Panthers now own a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ririe for a 3A Nuclear battle on Tuesday, September 17. West Jefferson will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to McCall-Donnelly (McCall, ID). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-1.
