In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting St. Thomas More Sabers volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Olympia Spartans.

The Sabers (14-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Prairie Central (Fairbury, IL). The Hawks come into the non-league challenge with a 4-8 record. In their last challenge, Prairie Central was nudged by Pontiac (Pontiac, IL), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
