Mississippi High School Volleyball - Walnut over South Pontotoc
September 14, 2024: Pontotoc, MS 38863 Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Walnut Wildcats (Walnut, MS) and the host South Pontotoc Cougars (Pontotoc, MS), observed Walnut's volleyball team top South Pontotoc by a count of 2-0.
The Wildcats (16-4) will now prepare for their contest against Tupelo (Tupelo, MS). The Golden Wave enter the non-league contest with a 16-11 record. In their last contest, Tupelo was knocked off by Germantown (Madison, MS), 3-1, in a league contest.
Next, the Cougars battle the Caledonia Cavaliers (Caledonia, MS) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 14. South Pontotoc will attempt to move on its 12-13 season record.
