Connecticut High School Soccer - SPIRE Academy nudged by South Kent School
September 14, 2025: South Kent, CT 06785 The South Kent School Cardinals held off the visiting SPIRE Academy SPIRE soccer team by a margin of 5-4 in Sunday's non-league bout.
The Cardinals now hold a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Canterbury School for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 16. South Kent School will play a Saints squad coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Salisbury School (Salisbury, CT). The Saints record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, SPIRE Academy moves to 0-1 on the year. The Spire travel to Kiski School (Saltsburg, PA) to face the Cougars in a Interstate Prep game on Saturday, October 4. The Cougars enter the game with a record of 2-3.
