September 15, 2022: Raleigh, NC 27607 The Porter Ridge Pirates football team (Indian Trail, NC), was tipped 22-15 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders (Raleigh, NC)
The Crusaders (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against American Leadership Academy-Johnston (Clayton, NC). The Patriots come into the challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, American Leadership Academy-Johnston nipped North Wake Saints (Wake Forest, NC), 10-3, in a league challenge.
The Pirates now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Monroe for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 22. Porter Ridge will meet a Redhawks team coming off a 45-26 non-league win over Sun Valley (Monroe, NC). The Redhawks record now stands at 4-1.
