California High School Football - Helix routed by St. Augustine
September 15, 2022: San Diego, CA 92104 The Helix Highlanders football team (La Mesa, CA), was ripped 44-12 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host St. Augustine Saints (San Diego, CA)
The Saints (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Mater Dei Catholic (Chula Vista, CA). The Crusaders come into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Mater Dei Catholic was ripped by Lincoln (San Diego, CA), 28-13, in a non-league challenge.
The Highlanders now sport a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Servite for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 22. Helix will meet a Friars team coming off a 48-0 non-league win over Rancho Cucamonga (Rancho Cucamonga, CA). The Friars record now stands at 1-0.
