Indiana High School Volleyball - Anderson crushed by Winchester Community
September 15, 2022: Anderson, IN 46013 The Winchester Community Golden Falcons topped the host Anderson Indians volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Golden Falcons now have a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Seton Catholic for a non-league test on Monday, September 19. Winchester Community will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Muncie Burris (Muncie, IN). The Cardinals record now stands at 7-5.
The Indians (0-8) will now prepare for their test against Marion (Marion, IN). The Giants enter the North Central test with a 6-10 record. In their last test, Marion was knocked off by Mississinewa (Gas City, IN), 3-1, in a non-league test.
Match Summary
The Lady Falcons traveled to Anderson, IN on Thursday evening September 15th to face the Lady Indians of Anderson High School. In the varsity match-up, the Lady Falcons beat the Lady Indians 3-0 with the following scores: (25-9) (25-14) and (25-5). Tonight's win improves the Lady Falcons season record to 14-5 and 4-1 in conference play. In the JV match, the Lady Falcons were also victorious beating the Lady Indians 2-0 with the following scores: (25-23) (25-14). The Lady Falcons will be in action Monday evening, September 19th - HOME against Seton Catholic; HOME again on Tuesday, September 20th against TEC opponent Centerville and then HOME again on Thursday, September 22nd for the 1st round of the Randolph County Volleyball Tournament against Union City.
