Washington High School Volleyball - Freeman over Timberlake
September 15, 2022: Rockford, WA 99030 The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Freeman Scotties (Rockford, WA) and the visiting Timberlake Tigers (Spirit Lake, ID), saw Freeman's volleyball squad beat Timberlake by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Freeman upgrades its record to 5-0 on the year. The Scotties host Newport (Newport, WA) to play the Grizzlies in a 1A Northeast bout on Friday, September 16. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a record of 0-4. Newport lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Lakeside (Nine Mile Falls, WA)
The Tigers now own a 0-7 record. They play next when they host St. Maries for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 20. Timberlake will play a Lumberjacks squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Grangeville (Grangeville, ID). The Lumberjacks record now stands at 4-0.
