September 15, 2022: Americus, GA 31709 Jordan Red Jackets (Columbus, GA) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Sumter County Panthers (Americus, GA), 3-0 in a league match.
Next up, the Red Jackets clash with the Carver Tigers (Columbus, GA) in a non-league match, on Monday, September 19. Jordan will attempt to advance on its 2-5 season record. The Tigers come into the match with a 1-4 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Chattahoochee County (Cusseta, GA).
With the loss, Sumter County drops to 2-11 on the campaign. The Panthers host Spencer (Columbus, GA) to clash with the Greenwave in a 2A Area 2 match on Tuesday, September 20. The Greenwave come into the match with a record of 9-3. Spencer lost 2-0 in their recent non-league match against Lee County (Leesburg, GA)
