September 15, 2022: Williamston, NC 27892 The South Creek Cougars volleyball team (Robersonville, NC), was dropped 3-1 in Thursday's league challenge with the host Riverside-Martin Knights (Williamston, NC)
The Knights (9-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Perquimans (Hertford, NC). The Pirates enter the Four Rivers 1A challenge with a 8-1 record. In their last challenge, Perquimans defeated Gates County (Gatesville, NC), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Cougars meet the Gates County Red Barons (Gatesville, NC) in a Four Rivers 1A challenge, on Tuesday, September 20. South Creek will attempt to move on its 3-7 season record. The Red Barons enter the challenge with a 4-9 record after their 3-0 league loss to Perquimans (Hertford, NC).
