West Virginia High School Football - Alleghany routs Greenbrier East
September 15, 2023: Lewisburg, WV 24901 The Alleghany Cougars football squad scored 49 points and restricted the host Greenbrier East Spartans to 10 in the Cougars non-league victory on Friday.
The Cougars now possess a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Radford for a Three Rivers battle on Friday, September 22. Alleghany will face a Bobcats squad coming off a 56-19 non-league win over Galax (Galax, VA). The Bobcats record now stands at 4-0.
Coming up next, the Spartans face the Princeton Tigers (Princeton, WV) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 29. Greenbrier East will attempt to advance on its 0-4 season record.
