Iowa High School Football - Atlantic knocked off by Winterset
September 15, 2023: Atlantic, IA 50022 Winterset Huskies (Winterset, IA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Atlantic Trojans (Atlantic, IA), 21-2 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Winterset improves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Norwalk (Norwalk, IA) to battle the Warriors in a 4A District 6 test on Friday, September 22. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 3-1. Norwalk lost 47-14 in their recent non-league test against A-D-M (Adel, IA)
With the loss, Atlantic drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Knoxville (Knoxville, IA) to battle the Panthers in a 3A District 6 test on Friday, September 22. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 2-2. Knoxville won 50-0 in their recent non-league test against Hoover (Des Moines, IA)
