The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Central City Bison (Central City, NE) and the visiting Fort Calhoun Pioneers (Fort Calhoun, NE), observed Central City's football squad defeat Fort Calhoun by a count of 28-14.

The Bison now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Adams Central for a C1 District 5 contest on Friday, September 22. Central City will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 27-8 non-league win over Syracuse (Syracuse, NE). The Patriots record now stands at 4-0.

Coming up next, the Pioneers encounter the Platteview Trojans (Springfield, NE) in a C1 District 1 contest, on Friday, September 22. Fort Calhoun will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Trojans go into the contest with a 1-3 record after their 55-14 non-league loss to Aurora (Aurora, NE).
