Iowa High School Football - Hudson knocked off by Columbus
September 15, 2023: Hudson, IA 50643 Columbus Sailors (Waterloo, IA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Hudson Pirates (Hudson, IA), 42-18 in a league test.
With the triumph, Columbus improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Sailors host Grundy Center (Grundy Center, IA) to battle the Spartans in a 1A District 4 test on Thursday, September 21. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 4-0. Grundy Center won 49-0 in their recent league test against East Marshall (Le Grand, IA)
With the loss, Hudson drops to 3-1 on the campaign. The Pirates host Alburnett (Alburnett, IA) to battle the Pirates in a 1A District 4 test on Friday, September 22. The Pirates come into the test with a record of 2-2. Alburnett lost 28-21 in their recent league test against South Hardin (Eldora, IA)
