Iowa High School Football - East Marshall routed by Grundy Center
September 15, 2023: Le Grand, IA 50142 The East Marshall Mustangs football team (Le Grand, IA), was ripped 49-0 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Grundy Center Spartans (Grundy Center, IA)
The Spartans (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Columbus (Waterloo, IA). The Sailors come into the 1A District 4 challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Columbus trounced Hudson (Hudson, IA), 42-18, in a league challenge.
The Mustangs now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Hardin for a 1A District 4 challenge on Friday, September 22. East Marshall will meet a Tigers team coming off a 28-21 league win over Alburnett (Alburnett, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 2-2.
