In Friday's non-league match, the host Gobles Tigers football squad scored a big 53-16 victory over the Martin Clippers.

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the NorthPointe Christian Mustangs (Grand Rapids, MI) in a Southwestern Michigan I (8 Man) match, on Friday, September 22. Gobles will attempt to move on its 4-0 season record. The Mustangs enter the match with a 2-3 record after their 28-8 league loss to Bridgman (Bridgman, MI).
