In Friday's non-league game, the Millard South Patriots (Omaha, NE) football team knocked off the host Gretna Dragons (Gretna, NE), by a final score of 38-7.

The Patriots (4-0) will now prepare for their game against Lincoln North Star (Lincoln, NE). The Navigators come into the A District 1 game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Lincoln North Star was dropped by Lincoln Southeast (Lincoln, NE), 42-16, in a non-league game.

The Dragons now hold a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Bellevue East for a A District 2 game on Friday, September 22. Gretna will battle a Chieftains team coming off a 56-0 non-league win over Omaha Northwest (Omaha, NE). The Chieftains record now stands at 3-1.
