The Hoover Huskies football team (Des Moines, IA), was ripped 50-0 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Knoxville Panthers (Knoxville, IA)

The Panthers (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Atlantic (Atlantic, IA). The Trojans come into the 3A District 6 challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Atlantic was ripped by Winterset (Winterset, IA), 21-2, in a non-league challenge.

The Huskies now sport a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gilbert for a 4A District 4 challenge on Friday, September 22. Hoover will meet a Tigers team coming off a 31-12 non-league win over Boone (Boone, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 4-0.
