The McQueen Lancers football squad scored 35 points and restricted the host Hug Hawks to 13 in the Lancers non-league victory on Friday.

The Lancers now possess a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Reed for a 5A Division II Northern battle on Friday, September 22. McQueen will play a Raiders squad coming off a 21-14 non-league win over Douglas (Minden, NV). The Raiders record now stands at 4-1.

Coming up next, the Hawks play the Carson Senators (Carson City, NV) in a 5A Division III Northern battle, on Thursday, September 21. Hug will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record. The Senators enter the battle with a 1-4 record after their 49-0 non-league loss to Bishop Manogue (Reno, NV).
