In Friday's non-league match, the host Perkins County Plainsmen football squad scored a big 55-0 victory over the Kimball Longhorns.

In their next game, the Plainsmen clash with the Sutherland Sailors (Sutherland, NE) in a D1 District 10 (8 Man) match, on Friday, September 22. Perkins County will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Sailors enter the match with a 0-4 record after their 63-12 league loss to St. Patrick's (North Platte, NE).

The Longhorns (1-3) will now prepare for their match against Morrill (Morrill, NE). The Lions enter the D1 District 11 (8 Man) match with a 0-4 record. In their last match, Morrill was crushed by Bayard (Bayard, NE), 58-0, in a league match.
