The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the North Webster Knights (Springhill, LA) and the host Minden Crimson Tide (Minden, LA), observed North Webster's football squad edge Minden by a tally of 28-21.

The Knights now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Richwood for a 3A District 1 contest on Friday, September 22. North Webster will play a Rams squad coming off a 17-6 non-league loss to West Ouachita (West Monroe, LA). The Rams record now stands at 2-1.

Coming up next, the Crimson Tide play the North DeSoto Griffins (Stonewall, LA) in a 4A District 1 contest, on Friday, September 22. Minden will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record. The Griffins go into the contest with a 2-1 record after their 55-3 non-league win over Loyola College Prep (Shreveport, LA).
