In Friday's non-league game, the Vincent Memorial Scots (Calexico, CA) football team smashed the host Mountain Empire Redhawks (Pine Valley, CA), by a final score of 42-0.

The Scots (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Bonita Vista (Chula Vista, CA). The Barons come into the non-league game with a 4-1 record. In their last game, Bonita Vista overwhelmed Mar Vista (Imperial Beach, CA), 44-0, in a non-league game.

The Redhawks now hold a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they host Maranatha Christian for a non-league game on Friday, September 22. Mountain Empire will battle a Eagles team coming off a 42-13 non-league loss to Kearny (San Diego, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-3.
