September 15, 2023: LaPlace, LA 70068 In Friday's non-league game, the St. Charles Catholic Comets (LaPlace, LA) football team were victorious over the visiting Teurlings Catholic Rebels (Lafayette, LA), by a score of 48-20.
The Comets (3-0) will now prepare for their game against De La Salle (New Orleans, LA). The Cavalier come into the non-league game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, De La Salle was knocked off by St. Paul's (Covington, LA), 14-6, in a non-league game.
The Rebels now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Notre Dame for a non-league game on Friday, September 22. Teurlings Catholic will battle a Pioneers team coming off a 41-12 non-league win over Comeaux (Lafayette, LA). The Pioneers record now stands at 2-1.
