September 15, 2023: Spring Valley, CA 91977 The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Monte Vista Monarchs (Spring Valley, CA) and the visiting Morse Tigers (San Diego, CA), saw Monte Vista's volleyball squad beat Morse by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Monte Vista upgrades its record to 1-2 on the year. The Monarchs host Steele Canyon (Spring Valley, CA) to play the Cougars in a bout on Tuesday, September 19. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 9-10. Steele Canyon won 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Montgomery (San Diego, CA)
The Tigers now own a 3-7 record. They play next when they travel to Scripps Ranch for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 16. Morse will play a Falcons squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Rancho Bernardo (San Diego, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 0-1.
