September 15, 2023: Lee's Summit, MO 64064 St. Michael the Archangel Guardians (Lee's Summit, MO) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Helias Crusaders (Jefferson City, MO), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Guardians confront the Bishop DuBourg Cavaliers (St. Louis, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 16. St. Michael the Archangel will attempt to better on its 9-0 season record. The Cavaliers enter the challenge with a 6-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Springfield Catholic (Springfield, MO).
The Crusaders now have a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Springfield Catholic for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 16. Helias will confront a Fighting Irish team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Bishop DuBourg (St. Louis, MO). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 5-3.
