Virginia High School Volleyball - Bishop Ireton crushed by The Academy of the Holy Cross

The The Academy of the Holy Cross Tartans topped the host Bishop Ireton Cardinals volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Friday's league test.

The Tartans now have a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Our Lady of Good Counsel for a Washington Catholic test on Tuesday, September 19. The Academy of the Holy Cross will confront a Falcons team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Atholton (Columbia, MD). The Falcons record now stands at 3-2.

The Cardinals (2-4) will now prepare for their test against St. John's (Washington, DC). The Cadets enter the Washington Catholic test with a 7-2 record. In their last test, St. John's gained a win over Jefferson (Shenandoah Junction, WV), 2-1, in a non-league test.
