California High School Volleyball - Mar Vista edged by Canyon Hills

The Canyon Hills Rattlers held off the visiting Mar Vista Mariners volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Friday's non-league test.

The Rattlers now have a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mira Mesa for a test on Wednesday, September 20. Canyon Hills will confront a Marauders team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Hilltop (Chula Vista, CA). The Marauders record now stands at 11-7.

The Mariners (4-12) will now prepare for their test against Madison (San Diego, CA). The Warhawks enter the non-league test with a 3-7 record. In their last test, Madison was nudged by Oceanside (Oceanside, CA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
