September 15, 2023: Smyrna, DE 19977 Smyrna Eagles (Smyrna, DE) supporters left the game in high spirits Friday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Sussex Academy Seahawks (Georgetown, DE), 3-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Eagles clash with the Caesar Rodney Riders (Camden, DE) in a Henlopen North match, on Tuesday, September 19. Smyrna will attempt to advance on its 4-0 season record. The Riders come into the match with a 3-0 record after their 3-0 league win over Sussex Central (Georgetown, DE).
With the loss, Sussex Academy drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Seahawks travel to Delmar (Delmar, DE) to clash with the Wildcats in a Henlopen South match on Tuesday, September 19.
