September 15, 2025: Park Ridge, IL 60068 Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the Maine South Hawks (Park Ridge, IL) and the visiting Maine West Warriors (Des Plaines, IL), saw Maine South's soccer squad prevail over Maine West by a count of 4-0.
The Hawks (5-1) will now prepare for their battle against Huntley (Huntley, IL). The Red Raiders enter the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Huntley nipped Geneva (Geneva, IL), 2-1, in a non-league match.
The Warriors now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Niles West for a non-league match on Wednesday, September 17. Maine West will meet a Wolves team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Niles North (Skokie, IL). The Wolves record now stands at 1-5.
