September 15, 2025: Hanoverton, OH 44423 Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the United Golden Eagles (Hanoverton, OH) and the visiting The Linsly School Cadets (Wheeling, WV), saw United's soccer squad knock off The Linsly School by a count of 3-1.
The Golden Eagles (5-4) will now prepare for their battle against East Liverpool (East Liverpool, OH). The Potters enter the non-league battle with a 2-4 record. In their last battle, East Liverpool Crestview (Columbiana, OH), 2-2, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Cadets battle the Wheeling Central Catholic Maroon Knights (Wheeling, WV) in a Ohio Valley Athletic Conference battle, on Thursday, September 18. The Linsly School will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Maroon Knights enter the battle with a 10-1 record after their 9-0 non-league win over Grafton (Grafton, WV).
