September 15, 2025: Albuquerque, NM 87108 The Cibola Cougars football squad scored 52 points and limited the host Highland Hornets to 2 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Monday.
The Cougars now hold a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Volcano Vista for a non-league test on Monday, September 22. Cibola will meet a Hawks squad coming off a 54-0 non-league win over Sandia (Albuquerque, NM). The Hawks record now stands at 2-1.
With the defeat, Highland drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Hornets host Hope Christian (Albuquerque, NM) to meet the Huskies in a non-league test on Monday, September 22.
