September 15, 2025: Culpeper, VA 22701 William Monroe Dragons (Stanardsville, VA) boosters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Culpeper County Blue Devils (Culpeper, VA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, William Monroe improves its record to 4-4 on the season. The Dragons host Turner Ashby (Bridgewater, VA) to face the Knights in a test on Tuesday, September 16. The Knights go into the test with a record of 0-4. Turner Ashby lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA)
The Blue Devils now own a 0-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chancellor for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 16. Culpeper County will play a Chargers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Spotsylvania (Spotsylvania, VA). The Chargers record now stands at 2-2.
