Queen's Grant Stallions (Matthews, NC) fans were in high spirits Monday as they observed their soccer squad triumph over the visiting Carolina International Comets (Concord, NC), 9-0 in a league bout.

The Stallions now possess a 4-7 record. They play next when they travel to Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy for a Catawba River 1A/2A/3A bout on Wednesday, September 17. Queen's Grant will play a Gryphons squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Mountain Island Charter (Mt. Holly, NC). The Gryphons record now stands at 7-1.
