September 15, 2025: High Point, NC 27265 The Jordan-Matthews Jets smashed the host Phoenix Academy Firebirds soccer team by a tally of 9-0 in Monday's non-league game.
Coming up next, the Jets play the Lee County Yellow Jackets (Sanford, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, September 18. Jordan-Matthews will attempt to advance on its 6-3 season record. The Yellow Jackets enter the game with a 6-5 record after their 9-0 league win over Western Harnett (Lillington, NC).
The Firebirds (1-5) will now prepare for their game against Piedmont Classical (Browns Summit, NC). The Bobcats enter the Northwest Piedmont 1A/2A game with a 0-3 record. In their last game, Piedmont Classical was overwhelmed by New Garden Friends (Greensboro, NC), 8-0, in a non-league challenge.
