Maryland High School Soccer - Northwest knocks off Seneca Valley
September 15, 2025: Germantown, MD 20874 Fans at Monday's league battle between the Northwest Jaguars (Germantown, MD) and the host Seneca Valley Screamin' Eagles (Germantown, MD), saw Northwest's soccer squad prevail over Seneca Valley by a count of 5-1.
The Jaguars (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Poolesville (Poolesville, MD). The Falcons come into the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Poolesville by Springbrook (Silver Spring, MD), 5-4, in a non-league match.
The Screamin' Eagles now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Watkins Mill for a non-league match on Thursday, September 18. Seneca Valley will meet a Wolverines team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Clarksburg (Clarksburg, MD). The Wolverines record now stands at 0-2.
