Georgia High School Softball - Wilcox County bounces Furlow Charter School
September 15, 2025: Rochelle, GA 31079 The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Wilcox County Patriots (Rochelle, GA) and the visiting Furlow Charter School Falcons (Americus, GA), observed Wilcox County's softball team prevail over Furlow Charter School by a tally of 21-0.
With the triumph, Wilcox County improves its record to 8-7 on the year. The Patriots host Telfair County (McRae, GA) to face the Trojans in a 1A D-II Region 4 contest on Tuesday, September 23. The Trojans enter the contest with a record of 9-6.
The Falcons now hold a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Randolph-Clay for a non-league contest on Wednesday, September 24.
