September 15, 2025: Loganville, GA 30052 Loganville Red Devils (Loganville, GA) supporters left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting George Walton Academy Bulldogs (Monroe, GA), 9-1 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Loganville improves its record to 14-1 on the year. The Red Devils travel to Alcovy (Covington, GA) to play the Tigers in a 5A Region 8 game on Tuesday, September 16. The Tigers come into the match with a record of 2-14. Alcovy won 10-7 in their recent non-league match against Southwest DeKalb (Decatur, GA)
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Athens Christian Eagles (Athens, GA) in a GIAA Class AAA & AAAA District 4 match, on Tuesday, September 16. George Walton Academy will attempt to better on its 11-9 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 4-7 record after their 8-0 non-league win over Gatewood (Eatonton, GA).
