Georgia High School Softball - Jefferson County topped by Jenkins County
September 15, 2025: Louisville, GA 30434 Jenkins County War Eagles (Millen, GA) backers left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Jefferson County Warriors (Louisville, GA), 20-12 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Jenkins County betters its record to 6-8 on the season. The War Eagles host Bryan County (Pembroke, GA) to confront the Redskins in a 1A D-II Region 3 battle on Tuesday, September 16. The Redskins come into the battle with a record of 9-10. Bryan County lost 6-1 in their recent non-league battle against Long County (Ludowici, GA)
With the loss, Jefferson County moves to 5-11 on the season. The Warriors travel to Academy for Classical Education (Macon, GA) to meet the Gryphons in a 1A D-I Region 2 challenge on Tuesday, September 16. The Gryphons enter the challenge with a record of 12-5. Academy for Classical Education won 17-1 in their recent league challenge against Central (Macon, GA)
