September 15, 2025: Forsyth, GA 31029 The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Morgan County Bulldogs (Madison, GA) and the host Mary Persons Bulldogs (Forsyth, GA), saw Morgan County's softball squad nip Mary Persons by a score of 4-2.
With the triumph, Morgan County improves its record to 9-6 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Jackson (Jackson, GA) to face the Red Devils in a 2A Region 2 contest on Tuesday, September 16. The Red Devils enter the contest with a record of 10-5. Jackson lost 4-2 in their recent league bout against Pike County (Zebulon, GA)
In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Upson-Lee Knights (Thomaston, GA) in a 3A Region 2 bout, on Tuesday, September 16. Mary Persons will attempt to advance on its 10-5 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 4-14 record after their 6-4 non-league win over Crawford County (Roberta, GA).
