In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Marais des Cygnes Valley Trojans volleyball squad scored a 2-0 win over the Altoona-Midway Jets.

The Trojans travel to Northern Heights (Allen, KS) to face the Wildcats in a Lyon County test on Tuesday, September 16. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 2-3. Next, the Jets meet the Central Heights Vikings (Richmond, KS) in a Three Rivers challenge, on Tuesday, September 16. Altoona-Midway will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 5-11 record after their 2-0 non-league win over McLouth (McLouth, KS).
