Louisiana High School Volleyball - Ascension Christian bounced by Live Oak
September 15, 2025: Watson, LA 70706 Live Oak Eagles (Watson, LA) boosters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Ascension Christian (Gonzales, LA), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the victory, Live Oak upgrades its record to 4-5 on the year. The Eagles travel to Walker (Walker, LA) to meet the Wildcats in a Division I District 5 challenge on Tuesday, September 16. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 2-7. Walker won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Liberty Magnet (Baton Rouge, LA)
The now own a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Catholic of Pointe Coupee for a non-league test on Thursday, September 18.
