With the win, Athens improves its record to 8-9 on the season. The Golden Eagles travel to New Hope (New Hope, AL) to battle the Indians in a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 16. The Indians enter the contest with a record of 5-11. New Hope lost 2-1 in their recent non-league contest against Westbrook Christian (Rainbow City, AL)
Next, the Wildcats battle the Randolph School Raiders (Huntsville, AL) in a 4A Area 15 contest, on Tuesday, September 16. West Limestone will attempt to improve on its 12-10 season record. The Raiders go into the battle with a 9-11 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Winston County (Double Springs, AL).
