September 15, 2025: Moundville, AL 35474 Central Falcons (Tuscaloosa, AL) boosters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Hale County Wildcats (Moundville, AL), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Central improves its record to 2-10 on the season. The Falcons host Northridge (Tuscaloosa, AL) to meet the Jaguars in a 6A Area 6 challenge on Tuesday, September 16. The Jaguars enter the challenge with a record of 6-4. Northridge lost 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Jasper (Jasper, AL)
Next, the Wildcats meet the Sipsey Valley Bears (Buhl, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 17. Hale County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Bears enter the challenge with a 8-7 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Tuscaloosa Academy (Tuscaloosa, AL).
