The Halifax County Comets volleyball squad (South Boston, VA), was edged 3-2 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting Chatham Cavaliers (Chatham, VA)

With the win, Chatham improves its record to 4-3 on the season. The Cavaliers travel to Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy (Moneta, VA) to encounter the Ospreys in a Dogwood battle on Tuesday, September 16. The Ospreys go into the battle with a record of 0-2.
