September 15, 2025: Upper Marlboro, MD The Gwynn Park Yellowjackets volleyball team (Brandywine, MD), was beaten 3-0 in Monday's non-league challenge with the host Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South Tigers (Upper Marlboro, MD)
The Tigers (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against International High School at Langley Park (Bladensburg, MD). The Bladensburg enter the Class 1A South Region II challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, International High School at Langley Park beat Central (Capitol Heights, MD), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Yellowjackets meet the Central Falcons (Capitol Heights, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 24. Gwynn Park will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Falcons enter the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Douglass (Upper Marlboro, MD).
