In Monday's non-league challenge, the visiting Crittenden County Rockets volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Union County Braves.

The Rockets (6-8) will now prepare for their test against Livingston Central (Smithland, KY). The Cardinals go into the District 5 test with a 6-8 record.

The Braves now own a 3-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Henderson County for a District 6 test on Tuesday, September 16. Union County will face a Colonels squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Ohio County (Hartford, KY). The Colonels record now stands at 14-4.
