North Carolina High School Volleyball - Freedom tips Wilkes Central

September 15, 2025: Wilkesboro, NC 28697

The Freedom Patriots (Morganton, NC) volleyball held off the host Wilkes Central Eagles (Wilkesboro, NC), 3-2 in Monday's non-league match.

Next up, the Patriots confront the South Caldwell Spartans (Hudson, NC) in a Northwestern 6A/7A match, on Tuesday, September 16. Freedom will attempt to move on its 3-9 season record. The Spartans enter the match with a 6-4 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Foard (Newton, NC).

The Eagles (6-8) will now prepare for their bout against East Wilkes (Ronda, NC). The Cardinals come into the Mountain Valley 2A/3A/4A bout with a 2-10 record. In their last bout, East Wilkes was nudged by Surry Central (Dobson, NC), 3-0, in a non-league bout.
