September 15, 2025: Yorktown, VA 23693 Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Summit Christian Academy Eagles (Yorktown, VA) and the visiting Hampton Roads Academy Navigators (Newport News, VA), observed Summit Christian Academy's volleyball team top Hampton Roads Academy by a count of 3-1.
The Eagles (7-3) will now prepare for their contest against Spirit HomeSchool (Richmond, VA). The Warhawks go into the non-league battle with a 1-3 record. In their last battle, Spirit HomeSchool dropped by West End Christian (Hopewell, VA), 3-0, in a league battle.
The Navigators now own a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Saint Gertrude for a non-league battle on Wednesday, September 17. Hampton Roads Academy will encounter a Gators squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Walsingham Academy (Williamsburg, VA). The Gators record now stands at 8-7.
