September 15, 2025: Kewanee, IL 61443 The Wethersfield Flying Geese volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting LaMoille Lions to 0 in the Flying Geese non-league triumph on Monday.
The Flying Geese now have a 10-1 record. They play next when they host Brimfield for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 16. Wethersfield will play a Indians team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Annawan (Annawan, IL). The Indians record now stands at 6-1.
The Lions (0-7) will now prepare for their game against Hinckley-Big Rock (Hinckley, IL). The Royals go into the Little Ten game with a 2-7 record. In their last game, Hinckley-Big Rock was dropped by South Beloit (South Beloit, IL), 2-0, in a non-league game.
