Georgia High School Volleyball - Mitchell County tips Brooks County
Mitchell County Eagles (Camilla, GA) supporters left the game in high spirits Wednesday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the host Brooks County Trojans (Quitman, GA), 2-1 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Eagles battle the Tift County Blue Devils (Tifton, GA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 17. Mitchell County will attempt to advance on its 1-8 season record.
With the loss, Brooks County drops to 6-7 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Chattahoochee County (Cusseta, GA) to battle the Panthers in a AA Area 1 match on Friday, September 18. The Panthers come into the match with a record of 0-5.
